Rules

• Write a story in English or Somali.
• Use short sentences.
• Use speech and conversation.
• No bad or rude language allowed.
• Stories are for children so please make them accessible and content appropriate for children from age of 3 years old.
• Stories must be politically correct and respectful of religion, culture, race and gender.
• All stories must be entered through our website competition form.
• The deadline of application is the last day of the month listed on our page: https://somaliforkids.nomadps.com/competition/ .
• Stories will be considered and selected by the Somali For Kids Team.
• The winner will be announced via email, on our social media channels and on our website within 2 weeks of the deadline.
• If no winner is announced, this will mean no one has been successful for the competition.
• If you are unsuccessful you are welcome to contact us at info@nomadps.com for our feedback. We will happily advise you on how you can improve and be successful for the next competition.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting your story to us, you allow Somali For Kids to use it.

This mean we will create an animation, and audio to publish your story. We may in certain cases edit it to make sure it respects our ethic, and rules.

We will show the name of the author (winner) as the writer in our credits as well as promoting it through our social media channel.

We will put your name and country of residence. If you do not wish to be named please specify this at the end of your story. We could use a “pen name” instead.

By entering this competition the writer (not only the winner) transfers all applicable rights to SFK and obliges himself not to claim any form of retribution whatever the success of the story.

If you do not agree to these terms please do not apply or submit your story to our competition.
